History

Our medium-sized company’s history is marked by a long-standing tradition, strong family values, a wealth of growing experience, and a high employee commitment.

1961

Brothers Georg Weber (28 years old) and Hans Weber (25 years old) founded the company, initially named Gebrüder Weber, in their parents’ shed in Bad Laasphe-Hesselbach

 

1963

The company name was changed to Hans Weber KG

1969/70

The first production hall, along with offices (approximately 1,000 m²), was built at the current production site in Hesselbach, Holderweg 34, on a former rubble dump from early mining operations

1970

After completing the construction project, the company relocated to the current production site at Holderweg 34, Bad Laasphe-Hesselbach

As of 1970

The company grows and gains more local employees

1986

The 25th anniversary of Hans Weber KG was celebrated

1990

Extension of an additional production hall with a social wing was completed, doubling the production area to approximately 2,000 m²

1991

The 30th anniversary of Hans Weber KG was celebrated

1995

The company received its first certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001

1998

The name was changed to Weber Präzisionstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, with Ralf and Siegbert Weber appointed as managing directors  

1999

The production facilities were expanded, and efforts to increase international presence began

2001

An additional office wing (approximately 220 m²) was constructed

2004

The company began processing large series of tubes on special machines

2006

An additional production hall was built to increase capacity (approximately 600 m²)

2008

A warehouse for primary materials (approximately 1,200 m²) was completed after moving around 20,000 m³ of earth

 

2008

Acquisition of our own system for degreasing components

2011

The company received certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001  

2012

The roofing of the recycling warehouse (approximately 550 m²) was completed, reflecting a greater emphasis on environmental considerations

2014

A warehouse for finished products (approximately 550 m²) was built to enhance just-in-time delivery capabilities (maintaining the total plant area at approximately 5,700 m²)

2018

Founding partner Georg Weber passed away at the age of 85

2019

Founding partner Hans Weber passed away at the age of 83

2019

The integrated management system DIN EN ISO 9001/14001 was introduced

2022

A photovoltaic system with a capacity of 500 kWp was constructed

2024

A new company logo was introduced to modernize the corporate identity

2024/25

Partial demolition and reconstruction of the office building from 1969/70

2025

Managing director and shareholder Siegbert Weber passed away at the age of 65
